I would try looking in Applications>accessories>Avant Window Navigator if it is not there I would just try the svn way of installing its quick and easy, all you need to do is copy and paste code into the terminal.

"still not working here"Did you 'sudo apt-get update' and 'sudo apt-get upgrade' again? The packages should be fine, they work well on my system after getting them from the repo. Do you find this valuable? |
