I had an earlier Suggestion On making topaz a reality with awn, as I though for about this it woudl be cool to integrate gaim or any im chat client with the awn dock. I am not very good with gimp editor, I am a lot better with photoshop, but I tried any way with gimp to make a mock up of this idea. It uses the idea from topaz, how a box can be connected to the bar. I don't really know how else to explain it, so here is my try at a mock up:

As you can see your buddy list would pop right out of the dock, and be apart of it. Now I don't know much about code, but I doubt you could use an existing im client for this. So this idea would probably be a pain in the but cause someone would have to create a whole new im client just for awn. But it would look super cool!

As said on blog comments, I tried to make a MayB-ish version of this great idea.

However I made this quickly, I'm not fully satisfied with this.

Update:
So More discussion has been goign on about this in the forum here, and another mock-up has been developed:

ok this mock-up is edited version of the one above this and I believe it was edited by, dskw.
