Key: Additions Deletions
Applets are programs which reside on the dock which extend its functionality. They can be added by rightin clickingthe eitherApplets endmenu of the bar and choosing "ConfigureAWN-Manager. applets." A number of applets are already incorporated into AWN with even more in development. AWN-Extras is a project that contains applets for AWN (follow the link for installation instructions).
Currently Availiable
Launcher/TaskmangerThis applet provides the core window navigation functions of AWN and should be enabled by default.SeparatorThis is a simple applet with which you may place a separator onto the bar.
Workspace Switcher
Like the name implies, this applet allows you to switch between your workspaces. Right clicking on it and selecting preference will allow you to modify it's appearance.
Notification AreaThis applet shows you what programs are running in the system tray.
Currently Being Tested
Gnome Main MenuThis applet allows you to access the Gnome Main Menu from AWN.AffinityThis applet allows you to acces Affinity, a beautiful search tool authored by the creater of AWN, directly from the dock.
In Development
Some very exciting new applets are currently in development including a clock, a system monitor, a stacks-like folder system, and Topaz-like pop-ups.
